✨ About the Author ✨

I’m Cynthia. I am the Founder of The Novel Advocate. I now serve as Executive Director. I guide our mission to give voice to those who’ve been told to stay quiet.

This platform began with one personal act of advocacy. I helped someone I loved speak out against manipulation and abuse. He spoke out against a system that failed him. Along the way, I discovered something bigger — too many people are silenced by fear, shame, power, or corruption.

At The Novel Advocate, I help survivors become storytellers — not just for validation, but for visibility, healing, and change. Those who have endured trauma and found the courage to speak up are some of the strongest advocates we have.

Your voice matters here. You may have been harmed by a provider. Perhaps you were gaslit by the legal system. You could feel trapped in a dynamic where speaking up seems impossible.

You are not alone — and you no longer have to carry your story in silence.

I’m not a lawyer. I’m not a therapist.

I am a witness.

A guide.

A writer.

A Certified Victim’s Advocate, Legal Investigator & Paralegal.

You are not alone — and you no longer have to carry your story in silence.

The name reflects both The Journey and The Purpose behind this work.

Novel means new. It implies a new idea or a new method. It’s a new way of seeing what’s long been ignored or buried. It represents change within systems that have silenced and failed too many silences, forgets, or fails.

Advocate is both a noun and a verb. It describes someone who shows up, speaks up, and stands for others. It also describes someone who learns to fight for themselves.

The words together express this platform’s purpose. It was built to support, educate, and amplify the voices of those finding their strength again.

I created The Novel Advocate not just to tell my story. I also want to help others tell theirs. Additionally, I aim to prepare for the emotional, legal, and personal realities that come with speaking up. Because knowledge is power, and too often, we’re denied access to it until it’s too late.

I learned these lessons through trial, heartbreak, and healing. I watched people I cared about be wronged by systems, professionals, and institutions. This experience called me to build the resource I couldn’t find. It is a one-stop place for truth, tools, and advocacy.

So yes, The Novel Advocate began as a novel idea — but more than that, it’s a living, breathing movement to shift the narrative, equip the silenced, and remind every survivor:

You are not powerless. You are not alone. You can become your own advocate — and help someone else find their voice too.

📝 Share Your Story

If you’ve been impacted by unethical treatment, abuse, or manipulation, I invite you to share your story. Please fill out the contact form below. This platform was created to amplify voices that have been silenced — but also to uphold integrity and truth.

Please understand that while I deeply value every submission, not every story will be selected for publication. This is not a reflection of your pain or your worth. To protect the platform’s credibility, stories must be supported by documentation. They also need timelines or verifiable facts.

My goal is not to sensationalize — it’s to advocate. Together, we can shine a light in the darkest corners. We can hold power to account. We must do so with care and precision.

Once your form is submitted, I will review it. I will reach out if I believe your experience fits this platform’s mission.

Every story matters.

Every truth deserves respect. And your voice — when ready — deserves to be heard.
